Growing up in Tamworth there was only ever going to be one team that Dave was going to fully support; Manchester United of course. Although his allegiance to the Lambs also remained strong.

Much of Dave's life is defined by a hatred of James Milner who he believes to be the anti-Christ of football and, more importantly, just very, very boring. The fact that James Milner has played for Liverpool, Man City, Leeds and Aston Villa whilst Dave supports Man Utd and grew up surrounded by a largely Birmingham City-supporting family has nothing to do with it at all.

While Dave has a tendency to take on in improbable quantity of 1-in-a-million badminton shots, he will be hoping his odds of Preds promotion are slightly better.
