Ange has always been a competitive type, whether starting secondary school a year early or elbowing other mothers out of the way to win first prize in the Mums' race at her children's school Sports Day.

As a childhood Port Vale fan, she will never put up anything less than a valiant effort. As so many parents do, she finally saw the light through the eyes of her children's common sense and became a Sheffield Wednesday fan. Prior to joining the league, Ange enjoyed a few decent Preds Cup runs, demonstrating that her competitive streak remains undimmed. From the word go Ange will be seeking to emulate husband, Rog, with instant promotion from the bottom division.
